Gospel – What is the Good News? I want to accept His acceptance of Me. His acceptance of love and grace, ultimately displayed through His son, Jesus Christ- both fully man and fully God - to live a perfect life to die for me, so that the law of the old covenant can be fully satisfied through His son. The law remains so that we may know that we need a Savior. The law shows us that we can never achieve righteousness, holiness, or sanctification through our behavior, as if our eternal life was dictated by how well we perform in acts of goodness, but it only confirms are necessity of a perfect and full payment for our depravity; the sin that leads to death - not just physical death, but that of spiritual separation from God. So the law of Moses was given to mankind out of love, to lead his people to his ways. He also sends his prophets, judges, and finally the greatest manifestation of His love - Jesus Christ. This love of God... it's constant, it never wavers, it never fails, it remains the same; in response to it, we can truly love others and Him. I am His beloved - in his love I will be known because I can be who I am, wherever I am, knowing that His love is not dependent on my performance, but the performance of the cross. God is fully glorified, when man is fully alive. We are fully alive when we know Him - not just superficially, but intimately. In that love of being known and realizing it is nothing that we can do, then we are free to be and live. In our union with Christ, we share his glory as coheirs; God wants to share his glory with us. He loves us; as result, he gives us the right to share his glory together, for he has no hidden agendas, but acts and wills out of His love and calls us friends. Through this relationship of honest, real, raw commune with the Father, we can function to our fullest and not be bound to our sin to define us. Even with our dirt and junk, we can be seen beautiful and truly unveiled to shine His Glory, because it's not through our effort that we shine, but we shine cause we are in union with Him. His identity is our identity. His love is our love. His peace is our peace. His joy is our joy. In response to His love towards us, God has called us to ministry of reconciliation; first to Him and then to others - Greatest commandment calls us to love God and others. As we go to mend the relationships into a true and authentic model, we are compelled to proclaim His goodness to others. We are compelled to go and reach the lost. We are compelled to reveal and unveil the beauty of others. We are compelled to save those who are defined by their flesh, world, and sin, which are full of bondage, death, destruction, and hopelessness. At the end of days, all men will confess the Jesus Christ is Lord, until the world is filled with His glory. REVIVAL NEEDS TO COME INTO OUR HEARTS INDIVIDUALLY. This results when we radically encounter God through his word and prayer. Psalm 27:4 One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple. Oh I pray that my brothers, sisters, and I would seek his face till we taste his true goodness. I'm sick of doing it out of my own power and strength. I want to go deeper. I want to see clearer. Tap into His power. Tap into his strength. REVIVAL THEN CAN GO OUT. Oh God, let us be a generation with clean hands and clean feet. Let us be of prayer, passion, and purity. Let our hearts conform to your heart. NO HIDDEN OBJECTIVES, but we want to experience your presence. Greatest Commandment comes first and lays the foundation of the Great commission; they both exist to carry out each other. So church...you people who love the lord. You are the church and you are the ones that carry out his plans to make his glory known. Will you be part of His epic plan? The question to ask is not if revival is coming? But when revival comes, will I join His epic story and His plan to make himself known? Theophilus - you who are lovers of God - seek his face. Get down to your knees and pray to Him until you feel the power of his presence. Let revival rekindle your heart through a intimate relationship with the greatest lover of all.

I.                   Seven personal commitments before the Lord

16 Confess your trespasses to one another…that you may be healed. (Jas 5:16)

A.                Commitment #1: I commit to refuse to participate in conversations that promote or joke about immorality. If I do speak in this way, I will confess to those I was conversing with that I sinned.

B.                 Commitment #2: I commit to confess to the same trusted friend (who embraces this covenant) each time I view pornography or have any sexual contact with someone (not my spouse).

C.                 Commitment #3: I commit to register with the technology of choice that promotes the wisdom and safety of accountability whether or not I struggle with pornography. Accountability Software: These programs track your internet activity and send an email to the accountability partner that you choose. If you uninstall the software it triggers a report to your partner. See www.covenanteyes.com ($2.50 per month); www.x3watch.com (Free); www.integrity.com (free); www.accountable2you.com (free). Web Filtering Software: Programs that block sexual content including pornography, gambling, violence: www.integrity.com ($49.95); www.bsafehome.com ($49.95); www.intego.com (For Mac’s); www.cyberpatrol.com (39.95).

D.                Commitment #4: I commit to hold any confession of my friend’s failure in strict confidentiality. If I do speak it to another then I commit to tell it to the one who confessed their sin to me. The one who breaks confidence should confess also to the one to whom he broke the confidence.

E.                 Commitment #5: If I “repeatedly” stumble in immorality, I will show the fruit of repentance by going with my friend to confess to the leadership and then accept the boundaries they give me.

F.                  Commitment #6: I commit to share with the leadership if my friend “repeatedly” stumbles in immorality. I will first tell my friend before sharing with a leader to convince him to go with me.

15 If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. 16 If he will not hear, take with you one or two more…17 If he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. (Mt. 18:15-17)

G.                Commitment #7: For leaders: I commit to follow the process of bringing those who ‘continue’ in immorality to the appropriate level of “discipline” instead of offering them “unsanctified mercy”.

20 Those who continue in sin, rebuke in the presence of all… (1 Tim 5:20, NAS)

5 Deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. (1 Cor. 5:5)

H.                We will not bring public shame to anyone who repents. We hope to never expose one’s sin publicly. There are many levels of discipline that do not require personal exposure.

8 Above all things have fervent love…for love will cover a multitude of sins. (1 Pet. 4:8)

9 He who covers a transgression seeks love… (Prov. 17:9)

NEw edit

INTER CHURCH PRAISE/PRAYER NIGHT!!!

WHEN: April 27th  (Friday) at 7pm.
WHERE:
Zion Church (Zion Christian Reformed Church).  Zion (Peter Yang is the youth pastor) graciously opened their church for us. Here's the address:
2815 NW Forest Ave. Beaverton, OR 97006.
WHO: Onnuri Praise Team is performing,
You will see the churches of CKPC, KECP, Onnuri, KFBC, the well, omc, common ground, and some others, but you are always invited.
WHY: We as one body of Christ want to get together, and praise God. We want to have more unity between our churches and hope that leaders would arise for Theophilus, and even at their own church. It is not just a time of praise but a time of fellowship, and a time to come together and pray in God's name.

Virginia Tech news broke my heart. Let us humble ourselves and pray for our teenagers and our generation. We need Jesus. I hope to see you all there.
